Shelton Benjamin reveals the reason for his absence

In recent months we have seen numerous storylines change in WWE, with teams coming together and teams and stables that instead have dissolved, such as that of Hurt Business, which was initially formed by Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin and MVP and then he had lost the two mid-carders, to leave only the former WWE Champion and his manager.

In the end, even MVP betrayed the former world champion, turning his back on him and allying himself with the giant Omos, with The Hurt Business thus remaining only a distant memory of the WWE Universe fans, who loved the stable.

After the destruction of the stable, Alexander and Benjamin were a tag team for a very short time, only to then break up too and each go their own way. In recent weeks, however, even Shelton Benjamin has no longer been any news, with the latest updates coming from the historic lifelong friend of Brock Lesnar, who in his last post on social media, wanted to talk about his injury.

What's next for Shelton Benjamin?

During the 2000s, Shelton Benjamin was one of WWE’s most underrated performers. He was an excellent natural athlete that could do incredible things inside the ring. This was seen through his excellent matches with the likes of Shawn Michaels and Christian in WWE and when teaming with the likes of Charlie Haas.

In his last post on Twitter, the former member of the early 2000s Team Angle of the Friday Night Smackdown rings, wanted to tell his fans about his rare injury in this way; rare not because it hits a few wrestlers, but simply because it's only the second major injury of his career: "For the second time in my career an injury stopped me in the pits.

I will be back soon. In the meantime, I will work hard to get back better than I have ever been. See you guys soon!" With a brief announcement, Shelton Benjamin thus wanted to explain the absence of a few weeks we are witnessing, even if his character hasn't walked the WWE rings for a long time, since he is no longer part of any important WWE storyline, ever since he left Bobby Lashley's Hurt Business.

Once recovered from the injury, can the athlete really return to hope for something good from the McMahons towards him? Benjamin remained a tag team specialist for two years before being drafted to RAW and pursuing the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
