During the night, WWE staged its latest episode of Monday Night Raw, with this week's episode having to find a new No. 1 contender for the title of champion Bianca Belair, out of a Six-Pack Challenge that was supposed to close the show in its main event.
Shortly before the show aired, however, there was a meeting between all the athletes who had to take part in the contest, including the two main roster champions, Sasha Banks and Naomi, with the WWE Boss who's said to have problems with the Chairman himself, Vince McMahon, because she absolutely disagrees with what Vince had decided for her and for the match in general.
Apparently, after seeing her leave WWE for months, following her defeat for the same titles, when alongside Bayley, the same thing seems to have happened backstage at WWE, with Sasha Banks leaving the arena, competently opposed to WWE management.
Sasha Banks and Naomi have left the arena
WWE fans were shocked to learn that Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of RAW earlier tonight. The company initially announced a six-woman match to determine RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair's next contender.
The match would have featured Banks, Naomi, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Doudrop, and Nikki A.S.H. After having had a first meeting with John Laurinaitis, head of relations with WWE talents, Sasha Banks has in fact claimed to speak with Vince McMahon in person, because the booking that initially saw this 6 Pack Challenge with the n° 1 conteder up for grabs the title, which Naomi should have won (by the way), did not appeal to the couple champion of the company.
At that point, not even Vince wanted to know anything, keeping the plans for the main event intact, with Sasha who preferred to leave the arena directly, with Naomi who followed her, leaving the building where she would be a few hours later.
WWE show staged. In the end, the company had to opt for a different match, with Becky Lynch and Asuka facing each other in a 1 vs 1, to find Bianca Belair's new challenger, with Corey Graves who, however, wanted to let slip a comment (obviously wanted by Vince McMahon), in which he defined the two athletes who had left the building completely unprofessional.
Updates will obviously arrive during the day and in the next few hours on this story. As per the company, the tag team champions "walked into the WWE head of Talent Relations John Lauriantis' office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk and walked out."
