Liv Morgan is about to follow in the footsteps of John Cena, The Rock, Sasha Banks, The Miz and other wrestlers who have thrown themselves into the world of acting which is quite common as wrestlers are usually also actors filling the entertainment part in the acting world, as well as contributing their body to the work inside the wrestling ring.
Deadline reported the news: “WWE Superstar Liv Morgan will make her film debut in Yale Entertainment's dark comedic thriller, The Kill Room. She joins an ensemble that also includes Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, Joe Manganiello, Maya Hawke, Debi Mazar, Larry Pine, Dree Hemingway and Leah McSweeney, as previously announced.
The film focuses on the killer Reggie (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman) and their money-laundering scheme that accidentally turns the killer into an Avant-Garde sensation overnight, forcing the merchant to play the world of art against the underworld.
Morgan will play an art purist who complains about the emptiness of art dealers. Born as Gionna Daddio, Morgan signed with WWE in 2014, making her television debut shortly thereafter on the affiliate program, NXT. After a few years of developing her craft and making a name for herself, Morgan took her career to the next level by joining the WWE SmackDown women's division in 2017.
From there, she would go on to participate in the first Women's Royal Rumble match and at the inaugural Evolution event, also competing in several Wrestlemania. Now as part of the WWE RAW roster, Liv's popularity within the WWE universe as one of the brand's top female stars continues to grow.
Morgan is represented by APA, WWE and Fox Rothschild."
Liv Morgan will be in a new movie
We just have to congratulate Liv Morgan on this beautiful new project and say that we can't wait to see her in action on the big screen of the cinema.
Only a handful of WWE wrestlers have appeared on the big screen, and it's great to see them being successful in another industry. Many people on social media reacted to Morgan's tweet with positive comments. This includes names such as NXT star Cora Jade, Flash Morgan Webster, Mickie James, Jessica McKay (f.k.a Billie Kay) and Renee Paquette.
Liv Morgan was a wrestling fan growing up and even had a crush on John Cena. However, she did not pursue a wrestling career until Triple H's trainer Joe Franco helped her get a tryout in WWE. In 2014, she signed a contract with Vince McMahon's company.
