The most colorful month of the year has now arrived a few days ago and the whole world, as always, joins in a big hug to the LGBTQ+ community which still faces discrimination all over the world today. A very important thing for the community, especially for young children who have to prepare to face this world that is still cruel towards them, is to see reference figures supporting them, even if at a distance and not directly.
Each of us has a passion and has idols and even in professional wrestling, it is no different, with so many fans who are part of the LGBTQ+ community looking to their favorite wrestlers in the same community as an example of strength and courage to follow.
But it is also important to remember the "ally" or the allies of the LGBTQ + community who support it every day and who can also be an example for those who are not part of it, pushing others to do the same thing in support of those who are not yet it has rights, because even if a battle apparently does not affect us, it does not mean that we have to turn away and deny someone rights.
The WWE, too, considers itself an ally of the community. Meanwhile, on the wrestling front, eight men and eight women will compete at WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view in two ladder matches that could change the course of their careers.
WWE doesn't stop
Like every year, WWE is preparing to celebrate Pride Month by organizing something special and this year things have been done in a big way, in fact, it has put on its shop some themed merch, and it has sponsored the participation of Sonya Deville at the Pride of Los Angeles and did a photo shoot with several Superstars.
As always Sonya Deville is in the foreground during this month because she is by far the person who has spoken more openly about herself on the WWE roster, giving an example to many people who often thank her for giving them the courage to come out and live as themselves.
But also many colleagues of the company participated, having photos taken with a rainbow on a black background and sharing them on social networks with beautiful messages, a gesture that perhaps for many people is obvious and trivial, but for others it is worth a lot.
