Tony Khan reacted to Jeff Hardy's arrest

After Jeff Hardy was arrested, there was a lot of noise about his career and the reason for his arrest. Many waited for Tony Khan to react to everything, and in the end, he did. He sent a message to Jeff Hardy “We were able to resume contact with Jeff Hardy this afternoon,” Khan’s statement read, as quoted by Wrestling Inc.

“AEW does not condone Jeff’s alleged behavior. We’ve made it clear to Jeff that we’ll assist him in getting treatment for substance abuse issues, which he has indicated that he’s open to receiving.

In the interim, he is suspended without pay, and he can only return to AEW upon successfully completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety. If you or a loved one needs help, please reach out to SAMHSA’s National Helpline: 1-800-662-HELP (4357)”.

Booker T reacts to Jeff Hardy's arrest

Booker T has also reacted to the arrest of Jeff Hardy and believes he could end up in jail for a long period. “It’s public as far as Jeff Hardy’s struggles with addiction,” he said.

“Man, it’s sad because this is serious … a class three felony, he could face up to five years in prison, and that right there just makes it a little bit different”. Booker T understands why people choose to use alcohol and drugs, but Jeff doesn’t seem to have had a measure this time.

We'll see what the outcome will be for him in the end. “I’m a tell you right there, pain comes along with that,” he said on Hardy’s bumps. “When you got pain, a lot of times you will go and drink, take drugs to numb the pain, therefore, damn it, I just relapsed.

Did he try to do it? Probably not, but that’s what people with addiction do”. Jeff Hardy has now created a problem for himself that could have serious consequences for him.
