Austin Theory on advice from Vince McMahon: That kind of sat with me

Since coming to WWE, Theory has shown that he is a great fighter and that he has a great career ahead of him. In the last year, Theory has gained immense popularity and gained a good relationship with Vince McMahon. Austin Theory recalled the advice Vince had given him before the fight.

Such advice had a positive effect on him and gave him self-confidence. “I remember standing right at the mirror at [The Gorilla Position], which is right before you go out, and Mr. McMahon was walking up to go into Gorilla and he told me, ‘Go out there and be confident like I know you are.’ I remember that was like the first message that really resonated with me,” Theory said, as quoted by Wrestling Inc.

“And this was since we had that meeting, which was probably maybe a few weeks before, so this was the first thing I was really hearing right before I was gonna perform."

Theory's Motive

This gave him an incentive to be even better and to confirm the words of his director.

Theory with his character and attitude deserves to be at the very top of the WWE, and his career is to be commended. Vince McMahon has shown many times how good he is at working with his wrestlers. No wonder he got such an empire that is gaining popularity.

When you are a leader, then you must know how to do it. And Vince has shown many times that he really knows how to run WWE and stayed there for a long time. Theory also said, “That kind of sat with me and I was like, ‘He knows I’m confident, and I know I’m confident and I’m not going to go out there and do something that I don’t know how to do. So, I know I got here so let’s go out there and work.’”
