There is just over a week before the next WWE PPV, Money in the Bank, but it seems that the Stamford-based federation already has to go and modify all its plans for the event a bit, due to the multiple injuries that its Superstars have been facing in the last period.
After the sensational injury of Cody Rhodes, who tore his pectoral muscle, presenting himself in the ring of Hell in a Cell with a huge hematoma that made his fans worry and not a little and after seeing the slimy attack against him at Monday Night Raw at the hands of Seth Rollins, now another Superstar seems to be injured and would need to be replaced on the stairs.
We are talking about Rhea Ripley, the member of Judgment Day, who apparently would not be able to take part in her titled match against Bianca Belair in the PPV. Ripley announced the news herself right before the week's episode, and it was later confirmed that WWE would immediately look for a replacement with a match that would go live on Monday Night Raw shortly after, this week.
Latest news on Money in the Bank
Shortly before WWE RAW went on air on 20th June, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Rhea Ripley was out of the RAW Women's Championship match at Money in the Bank this month.
After the announcement live at the opening on Raw of Bianca Belair, the WWE has launched a Fatal 5 Way match to decree a new n° 1 contender for the title, as had already happened a few days ago, when he had thought about winning the match Rhea Ripley.
Asuka, Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss and Carmella have once again been included in the Raw contention, with all these names having already been former world champions (except Liv Morgan) in different situations. To have the better, among the many big names, however, Carmella took care of it, who won the contest quite surprisingly, as fans expected one between Asuka and Becky Lynch as the winner, but apparently the WWE could have plans much bigger for them, perhaps for the next Big Four, Summerslam.
At the moment, however, we have no updates on what has affected Rhea Ripley, who has not fought in the WWE rings since last June 6 and who apparently will have to stay out of the action in the rings for a few more weeks. All five stars came to the ring to hype up the match - including a hilarious reference to James Ellsworth from Alexa Bliss to Carmella - before the show went to commercial break. As of this writing, the match has just started.
