Raw: Carmella put out a great performance

Welcome to another story from the latest episode of Raw. Opening the episode is the Raw champion Bianca Belair who makes her way to the ring and picks up the microphone letting us know that unfortunately, Rhea Ripley will not be able to clash with her at Money In The Bank because she has not been given the green light by doctors to enter the ring, even if the cause is not clear (who knows if it is related to the operation he had on his teeth a few days ago).

However, at this point, EST tells us that Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Asuka will compete in a Fatal-5-Way match to decree her new challenger. Obviously, in turn, the four challengers go out to talk about all the colors, in the meantime also bringing forward their cause on who will win the match and challenge Bianca Belair at the premium live event.

Bianca Belair opened WWE RAW with some bad news for fans. She announced that Rhea Ripley couldn't fight for the RAW Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank due to not being medically cleared.

Carmella surprises everyone

Once the whole ring is cleared after the bell rings, Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan are left alone and start fighting with respect given what they went through the week before, but then they are interrupted by Carmella throwing her usual tantrums, until Asuka does not succeed in silencing her, but Becky intervenes, while Bianca Belair watches the match from ringside.

The contest then continues very well with the five wrestlers who give their all to win and start the lines interrupted by the wrestlers who are not pinned at that moment. When you think that either Liv Morgan or Alexa Bliss, who did a lot of work in the match, might win, Carmella arrives with a Super Kick on Liv Morgan and then a pin that leads her to victory.

So it will be Bianca Belair vs Carmella at MITB. Who knows if it will turn out like Summerslam 2021 and someone will intervene to steal her place… (PLEASE MAKE BAYLEY PLEASE WWE). The match wasn’t as messy as expected, as only two to three women competed in the ring simultaneously.

All five women had a good chance of picking up the win towards the end of the contest. However, Carmella snuck in with a kick to Liv Morgan to pick up the victory. The match was entertaining and further pushed the rivalry between The Empress of Tomorrow and Big Time Becks. WWE also made the right call by awarding the win to Carmella.
