Does Ronda Rousey have creative control in WWE?

In the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Ronda Rousey and Natalya became the protagonists of a segment that has greatly divided the WWE Universe, some loved it, while other people hated it. In fact, Natalya made her way into the ring impersonating Ronda Rousey, made up and dressed like her and with a stroller.

Obviously, the Baddest Woman On The Planet didn't sit idle, but she went out to confront her and it ended in a fight. Obviously with such a controversial segment and with the two continuing to tease each other on social media in a not at all veiled way by putting on the table even things that are not exactly cute and do not represent the famous female solidarity, the WWE Universe has started talking, but also some journalists who wanted to dig deeper into this segment.

Latest update on Ronda Rousey

Speaking during his latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said the segment was likely pitched by Ronda Rousey primarily to the backstage creative team. “Writers would never have come up with such a thing.

As soon as I saw it, I realized: 'Ok, this isn't from this writing team, this isn't from Bruce Prichard' Let's say I was like, 'What is this?' And I was thinking it might come from a number of different people. It's Ronda. Ronda wants to do something outside the box, and she is doing something outside the box." We remind you that Ronda Rousey will have to defend her title of SmackDown women's champion at Money In The Bank this weekend against Natalya who has recently earned this opportunity.

Let's see if even on that occasion there will be some strange surprises or if the two will proceed to have a normal match that can entertain the fans. But if you want to make your predictions, tomorrow at 3 pm on the Twitch channel of Open Wrestling TV, don't miss the special episode of SideTalk Slam, our podcast dedicated to WWE.

According to Sonnen, Carano should be brought in as Rousey's protector with a backdrop of the former UFC champion regularly being bullied by a group of wrestlers: "What's Ronda really up to? Did she just make a comment? Was she just speaking from the heart and that's the one person that would bring her back.

I wouldn't be a grudger if it did. But a great worker like Ronda, I think that she's after something, possibly it's a match with Gina Carano. Like, if anybody could make that it would be Vince McMahon."
