The leader of the 'Cenation' has progressively moved away from the ring in recent years, wanting to make it to the cinema like his friend The Rock. His innate abilities allowed him to quickly become one of Hollywood's most respected actors.

The 16-time world champion made his highly anticipated return in the latest episode of Raw, where he celebrated the 20th anniversary of his debut in the company. The superstars of the present and of the past took the opportunity to pay homage to him.

Trish Stratus posted a video message on Twitter, in which she recalled his working experience with John.

“I had the chance to work with John Cena on two occasions and got to see a creative, inspiring and electrifying performer up close.

John has inspired all the superstars on the WWE roster, as well as millions of fans around the world. His dedication and his attachment to wrestling have made him a unique character”- said Trish Stratus. “Congratulations on your 20 years in WWE, we will never see an athlete like you again.

Thanks again!" - He added. Kurt Angle also said beautiful words for Cena: “I was his first opponent in WWE and we had a great match. He was happy to have shared the ring with me, he was very respectful and I liked his attitude right away.

I immediately understood that he was not a boy like the others and that he would become a great performer”. Bully Ray echoed: “John has what it takes to be recognized as the best ever. He was fantastic both in and out of the ring”.

John Cena appeared on this week's RAW to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his arrival on the main roster. 20 years ago, Cena faced Kurt Angle in his WWE debut on SmackDown. The rest, as they say, is history. In recognition of this milestone, the WWE legend received wishes and congratulatory messages from all corners of the wrestling world.
