Did several former WWE writers already suspect Vince McMahon?

As we have already reported in the past few weeks, there has been a huge scandal that has hit Vince McMahon in the last period. The WWE Chairman, in fact, would have been accused by some members of the board of directors of the company, of having had an extramarital affair with one of the lawyers of the company and then of having sought the silence of the woman and other people involved with the payment of $3 million.

Although the payment was made with the Chairman's personal money and not with that of the company, an ugly black cloud still hangs over Vince McMahon's head, magnified even more by several other accusations that have arrived in the last few days, of other alleged hidden relationships, with another great WWE character who risks a lot now and that is John Laurinaitis, who seems to have committed the crime of "aiding" the love that exploded in the backstage of the McMahon family company.

In recent weeks, Vince McMahon has taken a step back, leaving his daughter Stephanie as Chairman, while Laurinaitis has been replaced by Bruce Prichard in WWE.

Backstage news on Vince McMahon

Last month, a series of allegations were made against Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis.

WWE's Board of Directors has launched an investigation into the two men who were accused. During this, Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis both stepped back from their positions in the company. Apparently, in the latest newsletters from Dave Meltzer, the Wrestling Observer would have further details emerged regarding the alleged reports of the WWE Chairman in the past.

According to some insiders, the behavior of the patron of the company would have been strange several times, with some girls who received pushes, in a rather unmotivated way, immediately triggering doubts about the motivations for such treatment by the creative team.

In his speech, Meltzer said in fact: "I talked to some writers of that era (in the mid-early 2000s ed), one in particular, who worked for them for several years. And everyone told me that a few times, Vince would come in and say out of nowhere 'we have to push this woman', but he didn't tell them why.

To many, it sounded as if Vince had gone to bed with them, although no one ever admitted it, it sounded very strange also because several of them weren't even ready for the ring yet, but no questions could be asked about anyone. Many of these questions, however, eventually got answers over time, as we are seeing. It's nothing new."
