What will Kevin Owens do in the coming weeks?

In recent weeks, one of the characters who has made WWE Universe fans chatter about the strangeness of the storyline he's involved with the company is undoubtedly Ezekiel, Elias's younger "brother", again according to the Stamford-based federation storyline, but who is actually the same person, as Kevin Owens asserts from the first day the wrestler appeared in the WWE rings, right after Wrestlemania 38.

From then on, a feud was born between the two that still goes on, with the episode of Monday Night Raw a few weeks ago, which was fundamental for Owens' sanity, given that both athletes, Elias and Ezekiel, were supposed to appear during the show, to show that they are both distinct and separate people, which the Canadian hasn't believed in the slightest from day one.

Before stepping into the ring for his usual gig, Elias appeared in an obviously pre-recorded WWE backstage segment of the show, in the company of his brother Ezekiel. Obviously, the whole thing was artificially built with two overlapping videos of the wrestler, but to which the fans gave a great following, only to go against the WWE Prizefighter, now in full frenzy.

Since then, however, there has been no trace of Kevin Owens on the television screens of the red show, with John Cena returning to Raw also talking to Ezekiel, without the Canadian in the middle.

The latest news on Kevin Owens

Apparently, according to what Dave Meltzer said in one of his latest newsletters, Kevin Owens' said to have suffered a minor injury, which will keep him out for a few more days.

The wrestler had in fact to participate in a qualifying match for the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match, but this match against Ezekiel never took place, precisely because of the athlete's physical problem. In his speech, Meltzer said: "I know he is fine.

My impression is that it will still take a few weeks before his return." According to the well-known journalist, Owens is away from action because of a small injury and not Covid, unlike speculated by many. We will see when Owens returns and especially if he will continue his feud with Elias' brother or if the WWE has different plans for him in view of Summerslam.

During Money in the Bank, WWE aired a video package on Kevin Owens' history in ladder matches and how he has been a high-flying risk-taker in such situations. Following the event, The Prizefighter stated that he liked the video package, and apparently, his father also watched and liked it.

"Hey @WWE, I liked that video package you guys aired about me. My dad also liked it. Thanks!" Owens tweeted.
