Madcap Moss feels similar to Batista

Batista made the history of modern wrestling, having made millions of fans in every corner of the planet fall in love with him. Dave is a six-time world champion, having held the heavyweight title four times and the WWE Championship twice.

His first reign as World Heavyweight Champion, which lasted a full 282 days, is the longest in the history of the belt. In 2010, after leaving the Stamford-based federation, he followed in the footsteps of The Rock and John Cena and began his film career.

The 53-year-old from Washington has taken part in several successful films in recent years, proving he can also do it on the big screen. 'The Animal' played his last match at WrestleMania 35 against his great friend Triple H, being beaten by The Game in a No-Holds Barred match.

Soon after, Batista announced his permanent retirement from wrestling. The former WWE Champion has been the face of SmackDown for several years, sparking memorable feuds with Booker T, The Great Khali, Edge and The Undertaker.

In a lengthy interview with 'NBC Sports Boston', Madcap Moss revealed that he feels very similar to Batista.

Madcap Moss opens up on Batista

"I think there are a lot of similarities between me and Batista" - began Madcap Moss, who has had a positive season so far.

"I didn't use the term 'similarities' by mistake, as Batista is one of the best performers of the modern era. It would be enough for me to have half of the career he had. He is an absolute legend who has managed to transcend wrestling.

Guys like Dave have taken wrestling to another dimension" - said Madcap. In a recent interview, 'The Animal' analyzed his transition to the cinema: "I didn't want to be just the muscular guy who came from wrestling, if you know what I mean.

I immediately fell in love with acting and avoided taking on those easy action roles that would have labeled me forever. I'm not ashamed of my past in wrestling, but I wanted people to see me in a different light”.

Recently, former ECW Superstar Shelly Martinez has detailed her confrontation with Batista. “Kevin and I are going to go on live TV next,” Martinez said. “And I see that wrestler, while we’re waiting, whisper over to Batista.

And I’m like ‘Oh shoot. It’s on.’ And Batista goes ‘Hey Shelly, how about you mind your business when you’re in catering?’ I took a second and I thought ‘I have an action figure coming out. I performed at WrestleMania."
