Liv Morgan reflects on her future

Appearing on WWE After The Bell, Liv Morgan was asked who she would like to step into the ring as champion. This is what she said, “What I'd like to see is more people getting a chance. I know how long it took for me to finally get my chance.

I would love to see him with more women. I didn't know about those stats, but I'm like the first woman in four years to win the SmackDown Women's Championship who wasn't one of the Four Horsewomen. He was crazy.

I'm so grateful and proud that I've got to do that, but there are so many other talented women on the roster who could have just as much impact if given the chance."

Backstage news on Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan admitted that she thought her time to shine might already be at Money In The Bank 2021, as well as plenty of fans, and she also had multiple opportunities to win the Raw Women's Championship from Becky Lynch at the end of 2021, going into 2022.

Asked if the hard journey had made the destination sweeter, Morgan replied: “100%. What makes my journey a little different is that my fans have really seen me go from nothing to something. I have said this before, but I am aware that perhaps people thought that I would never do anything in this area or that I would never adapt.

My fans have seen me go from a little girl who was learning to take a bump and run between ropes to scratch and crawl for eight years, to becoming a women's champion, something that, at times, I thought was not in my destiny, something that I learned to accept along the way, but I never stopped fighting, I never stopped believing, I never stopped having hope.

Here I am. They have been with me on this crazy journey." Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell said WWE needs to make Liv Morgan feel like a credible champion. "Yeah, why would they even bring that up? That takes away from her win.

It goes against her win, saying she fluked it out. This is when you start pouring the accolades on. She's already had a match, she's tired. She goes in the ring against a woman like Ronda Rousey and still has the wherewithal, she hooked her and she pinned her 1-2-3. And they should have been poring on the praise for that girl."
