John Cena made WWE history, having helped increase wrestling's popularity in every corner of the planet. The Boston champion has achieved every possible and imaginable recognition, without forgetting the memorable feuds he has given birth to.
In addition to being a 16-time world champion, John has also held the US title five times, the World Tag Team Championship twice and the WWE Tag Team Championship twice. He also won two editions of the Royal Rumble match, three editions of the Elimination Chamber match and the 2012 edition of Money in the Bank.
The leader of the 'Cenation' has gradually moved away from the ring in recent years, managing to make it to Hollywood. Cena recently returned to WWE to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut in the company, but it will take several months to see him again in action.
Many fans will surely remember that John Cena had a long relationship with Nikki Bella a few years ago.
Nikki Bella speaks about John Cena
The two were together for six years before breaking up in April 2018, just a month before their wedding.
In an interview with 'ET', former Divas Champion Nikki Bella spoke of the painful breakup with John Cena: "I loved John Cena, but he wasn't the right person to spend my life with. Almost all people experience such a situation at least once in their life.
You happen to meet great people, with whom you have a great time, but who don't have the same philosophy of life as you. The breakup with John was painful and traumatic, but I knew it was the right thing to do." In the latest episode of 'Busted Open Radio', former tag team Champion Bully Ray crowned Cena as the GOAT: "John Cena has all it takes to be recognized as the best.
He not only did an exceptional job in the ring, but he also put a lot of effort into extra-wrestling activities. He has granted the wishes of many children and has never held back when it came to helping people in difficulty”.
NXT Superstar Cameron Grimes is looking forward to having a possible matchup with John Cena. "So when I win the NXT Championship, I would love to defend that against John Cena. I feel like anyone that's in this business would love the opportunity to be against John Cena in any type of light.
You can book it in a Coconut show in Largo. I don't care if it's on television. You can just do it in the Performance Center, and we won't even have to turn the cameras on and I would love that opportunity."
