On July 31, 2022, Ric Flair should have played his last match. Barring sensational and improbable twists, the extraordinary epic of the 'Nature Boy' is over. The 73-year-old from Memphis has written very important pages of wrestling history, having made millions of fans fall in love in every corner of the world.

Unanimously recognized as one of the greatest performers ever, the 16-time world champion was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame both individually and as a member of the 'Four Horsemen' As if that weren't enough, Ric has taken away the satisfaction of completing the Triple Crown in both WCW and WWE.

To Sportskeeda's microphones, Dutch Mantell analyzed Flair's latest match in detail.

"I didn't watch the event, but the organization was really fantastic. They gave life to a memorable evening and the placement after SummerSlam proved to be perfectly suited.

From what I read, there was no shortage of emotions and Ric Flair 'greeted' the audience in the way he did. Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal did a great job helping Ric shine. I'm happy that Flair managed to finish the match without too much difficulty.

Many fans went to the arena to pay homage to a man who - along with Vince McMahon, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin - made an indelible mark on the 80s and 90s. I give him lots of compliments. At the same time, I'm not entirely sure if he hung up his boots,” said Dutch Mantell.

Dutch then launched yet another dig at Ronda Rousey: "Ronda's attitude does not convince me at all. I can't get her personality right, I'm confused about it. Before entering the ring she jokes and smiles. As soon as she sets foot on the square, she tries to get serious in an instant.

I don't know why they let her do that. We're talking about the baddest woman on the planet, she should never get out of her character”. WWE just hosted SummerSlam, which gave thrills and twists. Bill Apter paid tribute to Ric Flair, a man he knows very well, with an exclusive Sportskeeda Wrestling quote.

He also paid tribute to the 'greatest-ever,' thanking him for everything the legend has done for the business: "A nostalgic time with The Nature Boy giving us one last look of him in his wrestling trunks. I worried about him multiple times during that match. Thank you, Ric [Flair] for everything you have done in the biz. There will never be another one like you!"
