Will Johnny Gargano return to WWE?

Right now Johnny Gargano, who left WWE in December 2021, is a free agent and the proud dad of a beautiful baby he recently had with his wife Candice LeRae. Over the past weekend, the wrestler participated in Starrcast V, taking part in an on-stage show called "What 's Next?", Where he spoke openly about his love for NXT Black & Gold and Triple H, who is now the creative leader.

in WWE. Asked about the potential return to WWE with Triple H now at the helm, Gargano replied, "Everyone loves Hunter. This period of my life has given me the unique opportunity to sit down and analyze what the landscape is as a whole.

If I had made a decision immediately, who knows what would happen? The thing is, I told myself I was going to sit down, see what happens, and make a decision based on that. I love the things that are happening in both places [WWE and AEW ed.].

There are pros and cons, did you understand it? Against [cons] and Khans, pun. I love what both places are doing."

What's next for Johnny Gargano?

"My next move will be to go home and change a diaper. If people thought I was going to come here and say, 'I'll show up right now,' I won't say because I don't have an answer yet.

I haven't made up my mind yet. We are lucky as wrestlers and wrestling fans that we live in a world where there are options and choices out there. There is talent all over the world and in both places that I haven't fought yet, I want to fight.

I am very fond of the idea: in the right place, at the right time, on the right occasion. My favorite time period as a wrestling fan was the Attitude Era where people showed up and you didn't know it. It's all a question of surprises.

This is the fun thing about being a wrestling fan. To be surprised. Whatever I can do to add that element of surprise and protect my surprise, I will continue to protect it," Johnny Gargano said. After last year's WarGames, Gargano announced his departure from the company.

“I had this guaranteed contract with WWE I could take for a lot of money, and I could come back and I could keep doing what I’m doing. I just knew that with the baby on the way, I didn’t want to have anyone else being in control of my time, because I’m really only getting one shot at this."
