During the night of SummerSlam, WWE wanted to give its audience many surprises, from the return of Edge to that of Bayley, accompanied by Io Shirai and Dakota Kai, up to the main event that literally left the fans with their mouths open, after seeing Brock Lesnar literally demolish the ring with a farm tractor.
During the evening, however, the match valid for the title of Smackdown champion also aired, with Ronda Rousey being screwed by the final of the contest when she was pinned while she applied her devastating Armbar of hers on Liv Morgan.
While the referee counted the three of the pin, Morgan was in fact going to yield, with the submission that came before the 3 count and therefore the winner should have been the challenger and not the champion. Obviously, the referee was focused on the pin and therefore did not see the hand of the champion giving way, so the victory was confirmed for Liv Morgan.
After the match, however, Ronda wanted to attack both her opponent and the referee of the contest by making an unexpected turn heel, which however did not leave the fans too surprised, who have been booing her for weeks now.
Ronda Rousey is suspended from WWE
In the last few hours, WWE has wanted to confirm on all its social pages, how its former Friday Night Smackdown champion, Ronda Rousey, has been suspended indefinitely from in-ring action, after having first attacked the champion of the blue show and then also the official of the contest.
Furthermore, the athlete will also have to pay a not yet established fine of money, with the athlete who was scheduled for an appearance at Friday Night Smackdown and instead will no longer appear, with Liv Morgan most likely starting a new feud right in the show blue.
Obviously, everything is the result of a storyline, with the athlete who has not actually suffered any fine, nor has she been really suspended by the federation, with Ronda who will most likely reappear on the scene in a few weeks, as if nothing had happened, to start a new feud on the blue show, or possibly even to carry on this with Liv Morgan, who may not be completely over yet.
During her latest Facebook gaming stream, Ronda Rousey joked that she'd stay in WWE until she and her husband Travis Browne were ready to have another child. "Yes, I am staying [in WWE after WrestleMania 38]. I’ll be staying for a while.
I just had a baby. I’m not ready to have another one yet so, I’ll be staying around ‘till we’re ready for number two, or four," said Rousey.
