Kevin Owens is arguably one of the most respected wrestlers on the WWE roster. During his career, the 38-year-old Canadian has won the NXT Championship once, the Universal title once, the Intercontinental Championship twice and the United States Championship three times.

Previously, he had featured in several independent federations such as Ring of Honor, Combat Zone Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. 'KO' started a feud with Ezekiel the night after WrestleMania 38. The former Universal Champion was convinced that Ezekiel and Elias were the same person and wanted to prove it at all costs.

However, a few weeks ago on Raw, both brothers appeared together leaving everyone in awe. This led to Elias attacking Owens with his guitar. The last match played by the 'Prizefighter' in WWE dates back to early June, when he was defeated by Ezekiel in an episode of Raw.

Interestingly, Kevin was not included in the SummerSlam card and did not take part in the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.

Vince Russo on Kevin Owens

In the latest edition of 'Legion of RAW' on Sportskeeda, former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo suggested that Kevin Owens may have been injured.

“I'm not ruling out that he's injured or something, but that's not the problem. I've worked millions of times with wrestlers who are injured or not in their best condition. There are so many things they can do even without a fight.

Making them disappear is not a smart move. You always have to keep them alive, otherwise, the public will forget about them. They can't always go away and then magically reappear” - explained Russo. He also spoke about Vince McMahon.

“If you think he has retired, then you are chickens. Nothing has changed. Maybe there will be a little difference in the shows, but he's always in charge. Don't get caught up in the heat saying that Triple H is changing everything, it's absolutely not like that”.

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo believes that Bianca Belair and many other stars have been miscast by the company. "I think Rhea Ripley is a killer, I think they use her wrong. They don't have a clue how to use this woman but I think she's a star.

I think Bianca Belair is a star, I think she's miscast, I think Riddle is good, I think he's miscast. So a lot of the people that I really like and admire, I just think they're totally miscast," said Russo.
