Ronda Rousey seems to have returned to the ranks of the bad guys following the actions taken at SummerSlam. After losing Liv Morgan against her in a very controversial way, the former champion of the blue show has been raging on her and the referee, leading the WWE to suspend her in a storyline key.
Apparently, however, Ronda will not stay off the screen as long as many suspected. The "Baddest Woman on the Planet" is in fact advertised for Clash at the Castle and it is therefore clear that she will have a match of caliber at the big event in England.
These are the words of Dave Meltzer: "Ronda will be in Cardiff, so its suspension will end close to the show. I don't know if a week or two weeks before, but what is certain is that it will not stay still for a month because it will be the protagonist of the show.
British event".
What's next for Ronda Rousey?
Despite the apparent turn heel, Ronda Rousey is still regarded internally as SmackDown's top face (but that may soon change). We remind you that she lost the SmackDown Women's Championship last month at Money in the Bank when Liv Morgan decided to cash in on her, pinning her with a roll-up.
We'll see who will be her opponent in Clash at the Castle but at present, a rematch with Liv (perhaps with a special stipulation) would seem the most logical hypothesis. At the moment the only match announced for WWE's great return to a British stadium after over 30 years is the main event between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns, valid for the Undisputed Universal Championship.
Many speculate that Saturday, September 3, this is the date on which the Premium Live Event will be broadcast, could be the ideal scenario for a handover and for the end of the reign of the "Tribal Chief" now a champion for over 700 days.
To stay up to date on the Clash at the Castle card on much more professional wrestling, we remind you to also follow us on Instagram. During the latest episode of Sportskeeda's Smack Talk, Mantell said that Ronda Rousey did some of her best work as an antagonist and noted that WWE could garner a lot of heat by reverting her to a heel gimmick.
"And I think Liv Morgan, the people like her. Beautiful girl and I think they are maybe turning Ronda [Rousey] back heel, which is her; I guess that's the environment she does the best in, maybe turning her," said Dutch Mantell. "And if they turn her on Liv, that would be a good one; they could get heat out of that."
