Lex Luger spoke to Sports Illustrated. Luger talked about many things, and one of the topics was Sting's renaissance in AEW. Luger can't believe that Sting made such a decision, but he is happy for him and wishes him the best.

His career was interesting and he had many injuries. When you're a wrestler, of course your body goes through enormous efforts and you allow yourself more than you should. However, Luger is happy with his current state of health. His body is excellent compared to the efforts it has endured.
“It’s mind-boggling. I’m in phenomenal health. Other than my mobility issues from my spinal cord issue, I’m very healthy, and that’s a miracle of God after what I put my body through. I usually use a wheelchair or a walker, but I can walk some. I have great mobility; I drive. But you know how your power will go out for a moment during a storm? That can happen to me, and I’m on the floor before I know it. So I take a lot of precautions. I live totally independently, which wasn’t supposed to happen. I don’t look the same because I don’t hit the weights like I used to, but I’m healthy.”
There is also a lot of talk about the WWE Hall of Fame induction. That would surely be the peak of his career and a reward for all that he has given WWE. Luger deserved it with his effort and work, and we'll see if he'll get there. “I might pop out of the chair for that. I would take that chance, if that moment comes. That honor would be the cherry on top of my career," Lex Luger said.
