Ric Flair will participate in another wrestling event

On July 31, 2022, fans were able to see Ric Flair in the ring alongside his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. The four put on a big show in Nashville the night after SummerSlam. Several wrestling legends such as The Undertaker, Mick Foley and Bret Hart attended the last match of the 'Nature Boy'

The 16-time world champion and Andrade managed to take home the victory by sending the audience into raptures. Despite a few moments of apprehension during the fight, Flair recovered quickly enough and did not encounter any physical problems.

“The doctors waited for him in the locker room immediately after the match ended. Ric was exhausted at the end of the fight, but after resting and being checked, he said he was starving and he wanted to eat something.

After recovering, he enjoyed the rest of the evening in Nashville, "said Mike Johnson of 'PWInsider'

Latest update on Ric Flair

Apparently, the collaboration between Ric Flair and Andrade El Idolo looks set to continue. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer has announced that he and Andrade will take part in an event to be held this weekend in Puerto Rico.

A few minutes after the announcement, Conrad Thompson was keen to make it clear that Flair will not fight, but will just stand in the corner of El Idolo during his match against Carlito. A guest on the latest edition of 'Busted Open Radio', Jay Lethal recounted how the idea for Ric's last match came about: "He found out I had a wrestling school and contacted me around the end of March.

We did some training and I sensed that he wanted to get back in the game. Only at the end of April did the rumor spread that he could play one last match. He never told me clearly, but he made me understand. I wanted to be part of that show.

We had been training since late March/early April and I felt overwhelmed by the events." Wrestling legend Ric Flair took part in his final match a week ago. Bill Apter paid tribute to the 'greatest-ever,' thanking him for everything the legend has done for the business: "A nostalgic time with The Nature Boy giving us one last look of him in his wrestling trunks.

I worried about him multiple times during that match. Thank you, Ric [Flair] for everything you have done in the biz. There will never be another one like you!"
