Among the many released in the last months of WWE, Karrion Kross, two-time NXT champion and future star of the main roster, was also included in the list of cuts that the Stamford-based federation had wanted to make on its rings.
After weeks in which everything seemed to be silent from the point of view of the releases, once again, like a bolt from the blue, the layoffs of the WWE began, announced through the official website of the company, but also through the social networks of the federation, which every 10 minutes they announced how a great athlete had been released, with fans and insiders themselves on their toes for hours, to see who would be eliminated from the company's rosters and who would not.
After seeing himself move to the main roster, with his character also being heavily changed and modified in the red show's rings, Karrion Kross then received the dismissal letter from WWE, just like his future wife Scarlett, and was also fired from the McMahon-owned company at the same juncture.
After years of working with the Stamford-based federation, Kross was then removed from his role before he could even say anything important in the main roster rings.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett are back
Like a bolt from the blue, in the final segment of Friday Night Smackdown that aired this Friday, WWE wanted to bring back its two fired athletes after months, with Karrion Kross and life partner Scarlett, who made their official return in the company, as Dakota Kai had already done at SummerSlam.
In the show's final segment, Bloodline was in the center of the Smackdown ring and was having a confrontation against Scotsman McIntyre, with Drew going to fight for world titles at Clash at the Castle. At one point, however, the Scot was attacked by Karrion Kross, who came back with a whole new look and longer hair than we left him last year, with Kross beating McIntyre several times.
the steel steps at the entrance to the ring while the Bloodline followed the whole scene from the center of the square. After the attack, Scarlett however placed her hourglass in the ring, as a sign of challenge to the absolute champion Roman Reigns.
Ultimately, Karrion Kross and Scarlett were released from WWE on November 4, 2021, alongside multiple other talents. Former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona also shared a tweet and jokingly called Karrion Kross "a real piece of sh*t."
