Smackdown: Ricochet got a valuable win

Hello and welcome to the Friday Night SmackDown report! From SummerSlam, the new WWE of Triple H seems not to miss a beat, among highly anticipated returns, reconstructions and sensible storylines. Will we continue with this positive trend at SmackDown too? - The episode opens with images of the SummerSlam match between Happy Corbin and Pat McAfee, which ended with a kick in the lower parts of the former Baron.

Backstage some athletes mock the loser and Ricochet comes forward saying that it was a question of karma, but Corbin does not take it very well and it all ends with the two competing. They will in fact be the protagonists of the first match of the evening.

- Happy Corbin vs Ricochet. In the final, the two find themselves fighting on the stake and Corbin wins by hurling his rival on the apron, but then he lets himself be distracted by Pat McAfee's provocations and ... RICOCHET makes him fall astride the ropes!

What a pain. RECOIL! SHOOTING STAR PRESS! .. 1… 2… 3! Victory for Ricochet, while the former King is mocked once again. - United States Championship Contender match: Shinsuke Nakamura vs Ludwig Kaiser.

In the final Nakamura tries an armbar, but Kaiser overturns everything and goes for an improvised Pin ... 1 ... 2 ... NO! The Japanese, however, recovers immediately and knocks out his rival with a kick, then gets ready ... KINSHASA!

.. 1 ... 2 ... 3! IT'S OFFICIAL! Next week Nakamura will attempt his US title assault by facing current champion, Gunther. - Backstage Kofi Kingston, interviewed by Megan Morant, promises that he will avenge what the Viking Raiders did to his friend Xavier Woods.

Because NEW DAY ROCKS! NEW DAY ROCKS! - We remain behind the scenes, where Sami Zayn knocks on Roman Reigns' dressing room, but the Usos respond. Jey looks annoyed, while Jimmy is friendlier, but once again they don't let him in.

The match was good in many ways. Ricochet got a chance to prove himself against one of the best workers on the show. Meanwhile, McAfee remained active in his rivalry against Happy Corbin. New Day vs Viking Raiders. The match is a very normal and very good tag team match, nothing more and nothing less.

Xavier Woods proves to be more and more one of the most underrated wrestlers ever, he is really very good. In the end, it is the Vikings who take home the victory by pinning Kofi Kingston, but they are not satisfied with this, in fact they come out of the ring and recover their shields and a chair with Kofi who is still on the ground and Woods tries to attack them, but he comes landed and his leg locked in the chair before being hit with shields causing the New Day member to excrete pain in his ankle.
