Road Dogg speaks about Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is one of the most respected wrestlers on the WWE roster, having climbed the ranks and established himself as a benchmark. In addition to being a five-time world champion, the 36-year-old from Buffalo has also won the Intercontinental title twice, once the United States Championship and six times the Raw Tag Team Championship, making him the eleventh athlete to complete the Grand Slam.

Seth also won the 2014 edition of Money in the Bank, which he successfully cashed at WrestleMania 31, and the 2019 edition of the Royal Rumble match. Rollins' fame is due in large part to having been a member of the Shield alongside Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.

The famous faction disbanded in 2014 and the three went their separate ways. In the latest edition of the 'The Wrestling Outlaws' podcast, Road Dogg revealed why Rollins was chosen to propitiate the 'breaking' of the stable.

Road Dogg reflects on Seth Rollins

“I don't remember exactly why Seth Rollins was chosen. I only know that he and Triple H have always had a special relationship, which began in the days of NXT. It may have been Hunter who named Rollins,” Road Dogg explained.

The latter also spoke of Sting's disappointing experience in WWE: “The Sting we are now admiring in All Elite Wrestling is very different from the one Triple H faced at WrestleMania 31 and then got injured against Seth Rollins.

He's having a kind of second youth in AEW and doing things he never did before. If he had been in the same condition he is in now, he probably would have achieved more in WWE." He also spoke about Triple H taking over WWE.

“HHH has been taking care of me since day one I arrived in WWE. The Game will always have a special place in my heart”. Former WWE Superstar Road Dogg believes that AEW fumbled the ball with a top star's recent booking.

"I wasn't a fan either man, it took him 18 minutes... You know they gave him the jabroni title, it doesn't mean nothing. When he was a guy that was really, it seemed like he was 'the guy' You know what I mean? And maybe he is in the future. I just don't think you needed to give him that, other than, the best title for that."
