Becky Lynch talks about WrestleMania 35 main event

Among the most popular WWE superstars of the moment there is definitely Becky Lynch, who has conquered the crowd thanks to her unique style inside and outside the ring. Following her arrival on WWE's main roster in July 2015, she became the inaugural SmackDown Women's Champion at Backlash 2016 and since held the title twiceas of March 2019.

At WrestleMania 35 on April 7, 2019, she, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey will become the first women to main-event WrestleMania, the biggest wrestling event in the world. During a long interview with the Orlando Sentinel, Becky expressed her thoughts a few days before WrestleMania: “I remember someone saying last year that Charlotte vs.

Ronda might be the main event, and I thought … ‘Over my dead body. I just felt waves of gratitude and relief. We really did it. We got the main event. There were tears, lots of tears just streaming down my face. Everything I worked my entire life for was coming to fruition."

She continued: “It started when I slapped the head off Charlotte. If I didn’t do that, if it was just Charlotte and Ronda, it would have been the most boring WrestleMania main event in history, and maybe not even the main event. Can you imagine? It needed me. The match needed me”.
