Toxic Attraction's debut is imminent

The balance of the tournament organized by the WWE to decree the new Women's Tag Team Champions changes in a clamorous way. In the last few hours, there were rumors of a possible debut of Toxic Attraction this Friday in SmackDown and the confirmation came directly from Shawn Michaels.

The Hall of Famer, through a short video on Twitter, explained that Zoey Starks suffered an injury during her match against Mandy Rose at NXT Heatwave (recover the Next Big Thing #74) and Nikkita Lyons did not receive the ok by the doctor to fight.

In their place, therefore, there will be Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne, former couple champions of NXT and members of the stable Toxic Attraction, which in recent months has dominated the third roster of WWE. Michaels explained that he reached this deal with Adam Pearce.

It is, therefore, the official debut of Toxic Attraction in the WWE main roster. There are no updates on Mandy Rose, still NXT Women's Champion, but it is likely that she can make a detour if her stablemates win the titles.

Just recently Mandy spoke about her about her stint at NXT declaring herself grateful that she is the champion of the brand, but that she wants to return to Raw or SmackDown in the future.

Toxic Attraction will debut soon

WWE is currently in Canada for a tour that will include tonight's episode, two weekend live events (in which Trish Stratus will also return) and the episode of Raw which will be broadcast live from Toronto on Monday 22 August.

Fans will be able to witness a great match between Edge and Damian Priest. The announcement of Toxic Attraction's participation in the tournament was made by Shawn Michaels as the new Vice President of Creative Development at WWE.

The Hall of Famer will also be one of the leading faces behind the launch of NXT Europe, scheduled for 2023 and which will completely replace NXT UK. Returning to the tournament, however, there are rumors that former champions Sasha Banks and Naomi may return to WWE, now that Triple H is in charge, to claim their due.

On the latest episode of The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed why he doesn't believe it's the right time to call Toxic Attraction up to the WWE main roster: “If you take Toxic Attraction away, that’s a big hole you’re going to leave right there," Booker T said.

"I just don’t think you want to do that right now. I don’t think it’s the right time to take Toxic Attraction away from that brand right now, just because it would leave such a huge void, and a void I don’t think they can fill right now”.
