AJ Styles breaks an important record

AJ Styles signed his first deal with WWE in 2016 making his debut at the Royal Rumble of that year and becoming one of the top stars of the company in no time, as was already foreseeable given his great talents. The "Phenomenal One" renewed his contract in February and, now at the age of 45, it is very likely that he will end his wrestler career in Stamford, as he too wished some time ago, admitting it in some interviews.

Styles recently starred in a nice little curtain with a fan who asked him if he missed the Young Bucks, who split from him with their new career in AEW, inviting him to be their partner for the Trios Tournament in AEW. Styles very diplomatically explained that he misses them, but they should be coming to WWE and not the other way around.

AJ Styles, owes his great success at the beginning of his career which took place in the rings of the then TNA, which later became IMPACT Wrestling, with the wrestler who was also absolute champion several times.

AJ Styles is a true champion

In recent weeks, AJ Styles has topped a major league table with matches played in the WWE rings of the McMahon family.

With just six years in business, Phenomenal One has had more ring matches in the McMahon company than in that of the then Carters. Since 2016, Styles has fought 556 matches in the WWE rings, while in TNA the Phenomenal One has played "only" 545 matches.

His tenure at TNA was 9 years, from 2004 to 2013, with the face of him also being one of the most prominent in Dixie Carter's American federation. Even if all this does not constitute an absolute record for the golden books of the company, for the career of AJ Styles this is certainly a great point of arrival, for him who in the independent companies has grown there professionally for years.

In a recent interview, AJ Styles said that his former tag team partner Omos will become a WWE Champion in the future. "We are a well-oiled machine," said Styles. "We are the RAW Tag Team Champs because we know what each other is thinking, we know what's next for my partner, when I get in, when he gets in - we know how to handle this thing.

We got it. He was a little rocky at first, I'll admit it, we figured it out. Now we're beating people to pulps . . . This guy is a champion."
