Kurt Angle reveals a very funny anecdote

Kurt Angle is counted among the best superstars of the modern era, although there was considerable skepticism about him early in his wrestling career. The Mount Lebanon champion has earned every possible and imaginable recognition in this business, as well as breaking the hearts of millions of fans.

Angle is the only performer in history to have captured the WWE Championship, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and the IWGP Third Belt Championship.

Kurt was inducted into both the Impact Hall of Fame and the WWE Hall of Fame, testifying to his enormous impact on this industry. His career ended sadly at Wrestlemania 35, after he was defeated by Baron Corbin in the last match of his career.

During his WWE adventure, Angle has engendered some memorable feuds. In the latest edition of his now famous podcast, Kurt recalled his rivalry with Triple H that culminated in Unforgiven 2000. According to initial plans, Stephanie Mcmahon was supposed to take part in some commercials during that match.

"Stephanie McMahon was expected to take part in three commercials during the match between me and Triple H at Unforgiven 2000," said Kurt Angle. “However, whenever we were about to make one of the commercials about her, her father's Vince opposed her and said it was too risky.

In the end, we were forced to eliminate all three of them” - he added. Kurt then returned to his decision to give up the 2004 Olympics: “I was seriously thinking about participating in that edition of the Games.

I thought about it day and night. If I had won Olympic gold in 2004, I would have automatically become one of the greatest ever. At the same time, if I hadn't won any medals, no one would have given me back the lost time. I didn't want to take the risk of leaving WWE to go to the Olympics, even though I was in doubt until the last time.

I would have had to train a lot to get back in good shape and it wasn't worth it at that moment." WWE legend Kurt Angle has said that it was the wrong decision by Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler to ask fans to show their breasts on an episode of Smackdown in 2000.

"It was the worst idea in the world for Jerry Lawler to have fans show their puppies. Whether it's during the show or during commercial break, that's when the fans don't get involved the match anymore. They're more interested in seeing n*ked women in the crowd - and I don't blame them for that [laughs]."
