During a press conference in Las Vegas, WWE confirmed that Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel. The event will be held on November 5 in Saudi Arabia. The 'Tribal Chief' has been the iconic face of the company for a couple of years, having now made his way into the hearts of fans.
His sensational turn heel and his alliance with Paul Heyman have turned his career around, allowing him to fully express his talent. The former Shield member defeated Brock Lesnar at both WrestleMania 38 and SummerSlam, before defeating Drew McIntyre in Clash at the Castle.
As for Logan Paul, it will be his third ever match in the company, the first for a title. In the latest edition of his now famous podcast, former WWE manager Jim Cornette revealed that the WWE Universe may not react well if Paul dethrones Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.
Jim Cornette opens up on Logan Paul
“I have serious doubts that Logan Paul can defeat Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia. How would the WWE Universe take it? The 'Tribal Chief' has been the company's undisputed leader for a couple of years and has beaten the best superstars on the roster.
No one has managed to break his hegemony up to this point. Logan has shown great things in recent months, but we are talking about an athlete who has had just two matches in his entire career. It would be crazy to allow such an inexperienced wrestler to dethrone the super champion.
The fans would not react well, at least in my opinion” - Jim Cornette analyzed. Jim then shot zero at Riddle: “I'm not a huge fan of him and I can't really understand the essence of his character. He performs a lot of moves in the ring, but I struggle to grasp his personality.
Even the appearance of him leaves me perplexed, it seems that he has come out of the jungle. Instead of bringing back a myriad of superstars, Triple H should give more depth to the various characters." Veteran wrestling manager Jim Cornette recently shared his opinion of AEW's Darby Allin and criticized the latter for his recent actions.
"He is still a complete, irresponsible f***ing imbecile, both irresponsible to himself and to his business. You know he is always doing this sh** where he jumps off a f***ing bridge, or he jumps something in a car or a motorcycle," said Cornette.
