Seth Rollins prepares for a huge challenge

After holding several titles between Ring of Honor, NXT and WWE main roster, today a long time after the last time, Seth Rollins will have a new titled opportunity to be able to close a fast that has lasted for 930 days. Well, after winning the Universal title in the 2019 edition of SummerSlam against Brock Lesnar, Seth gave birth to an anonymous kingdom that recovered only through the involvement of Bray Wyatt in "The Fiend" version although, still today, it remains well imprinted in the memories of all of us the horrid Hell in a Cell match that took place that year between the two.

Seth lost the title to the monster who then moved to SmackDown on FOX through the Draft, the same element that Rollins later screened on the Monday night show. Weeks after weeks, the new character of the Architect was written, transformed first into the "Monday Night Messiah" and then into the "Freaking" which until recently also appeared in the nomination of the athlete within the online profile on the official WWE website.

Seth Rollins vs. Bobby Lashley

Seth Rollins had major feuds with Kevin Owens, tried to win the title against Drew McIntyre, only to take it out on Rey Mysterio, try again to conquer the belt, and then move on to the splendid feud against Edge staged last year which ended with a Hell in a Cell match at Crown Jewel 2021.

The transition to SmackDown in the Draft did not lead to other types of shocking scenarios, only to return to that of RAW and write an alliance / faisa with Kevin Owens and the many difficulties followed for the attempt to conquer the maximum WWE title.

New opportunities arose when at the beginning of the year he faced Roman Reigns to try to recover the Universal title, but even there the Jokerian madness found no outcome in his favor, if not a disqualification and therefore the failure to return home with a belt.

And then? Well we all know what happened, Cody Rhodes first, Matt Riddle then and now Bobby Lashley, once again as the enemy, once again in an attempt to lift a title as important as that of the United States. Tonight, US Championship match, the champion Bobby Lashley vs Seth Rollins in an attempt to raise to the sky for the second time a title already held in 2015 when he overtook John Cena at SummerSlam, only to lose it against the former champion in the following PPV, Night of Champions.
