Bianca Belair and Bayley will make history

In the latest episode of RAW, Bayley and Bianca Belair clashed verbally, with the former taking on the RAW Women's Champion at Extreme Rules in a Ladder Match. This means that the only way to win the title is to step up the ladder and take the title hanging above the ring.

The challenge between The Role Model and The EST of WWE was scheduled last year for the Premium Live Event Money in the Bank, with the SmackDown Women's Title up for grabs, but Bayley's severe knee injury ruined the plans.

In fact, the Californian girl was injured at the Performance Center while she was training and injured her anterior cruciate ligament, being out of the game for over a year. But now she is back in SummerSlam '22, after the end of the match won by Bianca Belair against Becky Lynch.

The former Hugger got the opportunity to challenge Bianca for the title thanks to the Damaga CTRL victory against RAW champion (pinned by Bayley herself), Alexa Bliss and Asuka.

Update on Bayley and Bianca Belair

Now, however, WWE history is being made.

In fact, Bayley and Bianca Belair, at Extreme Rules, will be the first two athletes ever to compete in a 1vs1 Women’s Ladder Match on the main roster. Bayley herself chose the match and, in a Twitter message, she shared all her joy for this choice: “I'm a threat !!!!!

I've been demonstrating, imagining and obsessing about Ladder Matches since the days when Hardy Boyz / Edge & Christian competed in these matches. Bianca can't understand at all what it means but this time she is done."

Bianca also shared her thoughts on this match, again on Twitter: “Do you want my title? Step by step go up and get it. One on One. We become EXTREME." At the moment, only Bianca Belair and Bayley have the Extreme Rules match but this does not rule out a possible title match of the couple champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY against Asuka and Alexa Bliss.

Vince Russo spoke in detail about the significant issues with Bianca Belair's character on the most recent episode of Legion of RAW. "You aren't true to your characters. I'll tell you where it leads Bianca. It's okay for her that she lost and move on.

I lost; Becky Lynch is the better wrestler; it's time for me to move on. I'm not saying that's Bianca. That's the way they have written it. That's the way they have written it. This isn't her. Chris, I'm going to ask you, as a black man, because I don't know how you feel, this is a world-class athlete."
