Despite being frequently criticized throughout his career, it is undeniable that Brock Lesnar made wrestling history. Webster's 45-year-old is the only athlete in history to have won a world title in mixed martial arts, professional wrestling and collegiate wrestling.
As if that weren't enough, the Beast has also won seven WWE Championships, one UFC Heavyweight Championship and one NCAA Division I Heavyweight Championship. There are also three Universal Championships and an IWGP Heavyweight Championship to bolster his 'showcase'
Lesnar has not taken away any particular satisfaction in this 2022, having been defeated by 'Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns at both WrestleMania 38 and SummerSlam. In the latest edition of the 'Something to Wrestle' podcast, Bruce Prichard talked about the time when Brock accidentally broke his nose.
Bruce Prichard on Brock Lesnar
“We were in Nova Scotia and we had to do a backstage segment. We had just finished filming and the crews had to dismantle the wall to get Brock Lesnar out of a small room. That wall hadn't been built very well and the Beast didn't want to wait that long.
So he started breaking the wall on his own and some pieces ended up on me. I broke my nose in three places” - Bruce Prichard recalled. Bruce was keen to emphasize that it was an accident: “Lesnar is a kind and caring man, in fact he immediately sent me a note to the hospital.
He also sent me some great food and phoned me to find out how I was. He hadn't done it on purpose. He kept in touch with me and sent me many nice gifts”. Prichard revealed that it was difficult to handle the Beast: “The WWE had invested a lot in Brock, trained him and made him gain great popularity.
But he was unhappy, he wanted more than wrestling. We told him that he could do something else if he wished, but we prevented him from performing in competing federations. We wanted to protect both him and our interests."
Former United States Champion Happy Corbin recently commented on whether he has ever considered working with Brock Lesnar in WWE. Current SmackDown Superstar Happy Corbin recently hosted a Q&A session on Twitter. When a fan asked him about possibly working with Brock Lesnar, he said he would definitely consider it, but the decision is not up to him.
"Not my choice but defn [definitely] would," wrote Corbin. Reigns got the victory with the help of The Usos after Lesnar lopsided the ring with a bulldozer.
