In the penultimate episode of RAW, Bayley and Bianca Belair clashed verbally, with the former taking on the RAW Women's Champion at Extreme Rules in a Ladder Match. This means that the only way to win the title is to step up the ladder and take the title hanging above the ring.
The challenge between the Role Model and The EST of WWE was scheduled last year for the Premium Live Event Money in the Bank, with the Smackdown Women's Title up for grabs, but Bayley's severe knee injury ruined the plans, keeping her at home for a whole year.
In fact, the Californian girl was injured at the Performance Center while she was training and injured her anterior cruciate ligament, being out of the game for over a year. But now she is back in SummerSlam '22, after the end of the match won by Bianca Belair against Becky Lynch.
Now, however, it seems that Bayley has also shifted her attention to the NXT roster, first declaring that she wanted to return to the roster that saw her take her first steps in the WWE ring and then with an offer that came to Toxic Attraction.
Bayley invites Toxic Attraction?
After seeing the defeat of Toxic Attraction in the latest installment of NXT, with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne being defeated by the couple formed by Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark in a n° 1 contender match for the NXT Tag Team Championship titles, an "indecent" proposal from Bayley to the two NXT heels arrived like a bolt from the blue.
With a tweet that has left the fans quite baffled, Bayley has in fact offered a more important title shot tag team, that is probably the one to the titles of the main roster, currently alongside his colleagues Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai.
This is the offending tweet: That WWE is already working on the return of the Damage CTRL to NXT, or perhaps in view of the Survivor Series in which there may be some battle or clash between the rosters? What if Bayley was trying to expand his Damage CTRL instead? Wrestling veteran Konnan savagely dismissed any comparisons between WWE Superstar Bayley and former AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida.
On the latest edition of the Keepin' It 100 podcast, a fan asked a question about whether Bayley is a top star. They even called her the WWE version of Hikaru Shida. Konnan was not impressed with the comparison and gave a scathing response: "Bro, comparing her to [Hikaru] Shida? Give me a break. I mean Shida is really, you know, really nothing happening there. No charisma," said Konnan.
