Wrestling veteran slams CM Punk

CM Punk played his last match in AEW last September during the 'All Out' pay-per-view, when he defeated Jon Moxley to take the world title. The two-time AEW World Champion then ended up in the eye of the storm due to a backstage brawl, which led to his suspension and made his future more uncertain than ever.

During the latest edition of 'Wrestling Observer Radio', journalist Nick Hausman reflected on the future of Punk: “Money is definitely not a problem for this guy. He is making his way to Hollywood right now. A lot of people close to Punk have told me that he may never fight again ”.

A possible return of CM Punk to WWE was also ruled out: “Triple H no longer wants to have anything to do with him. This is what I was told a couple of months ago. I don't think CM Punk wants to go back to WWE either."

Eric Bischoff slams CM Punk

During a recent interview with 'Wrestling Inc.'

, Eric Bischoff shot zero at the 'Second City Saint': “The truth is that CM Punk is old, frail and has never been in great shape since he arrived. in All Elite Wrestling. He doesn't even look like an athlete anymore and it's not worth investing so much money on him.

I'm sure he still has a lot of fans out there who continue to support him despite everything, but most of the people are left with a bitter taste. People have realized that that mystique is no longer there and that Punk is just one of many.

His value is very low at the moment”. Bischoff added: “CM Punk had managed to get into people's hearts during his WWE experience. His rebellious character and the infamous 'pipe bomb' had created a mystique around him.

When he landed in AEW, Tony Khan tried to exploit that mystique, but he did it for a very short time." Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell addressed the possibility of WWE bringing CM Punk back. On the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk, Dutch Mantell told Sid Pullar III that he thinks The Game will prevent the seven-time World Champion from ever returning to WWE.

"Triple H is going to stop CM Punk from ever setting foot in WWE. And they [WWE] don't need him. If this had been three months ago, they needed everything three months ago. But they kind of filled those gaps in and I don't think there's any need for CM Punk."
