Timothy Thatcher talked to Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc. about various topics, and one of them was his arrival in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Many were surprised that the former member of WWE decided on such a move. His friend had the greatest influence on him.
“I ended up with Pro Wrestling NOAH rather quickly because Hideki Suzuki asked me. After we both got fired, he made the decision that he was going to go back to Japan and work for NOAH. And he asked me, ‘Would you like to do it?’ And Hideki’s a good friend of mine and I told him yes.
So after that everything else becomes null and void because I told my friend that this is what I was going to do”. - he said, as quoted by pwmania.com Many have doubts as to whether Thatcher will perhaps soon change his plan and decide on a new wrestling organization.
He still doesn't think that far ahead. “We’ll see if stuff changes. As I said, if the forbidden door is allowed to be [open] and there’s a wonderful working [relationship between the companies], then maybe we’ll see”.
Timothy Thatcher on WWE
Thatcher has the option of returning to WWE, especially since Triple H is here. WWE doesn't seem to be in his plans. Thatcher believes that Triple H has more important things to do right now and that he is still not his priority.
“Once you leave a place… that’s in the past now and if our paths cross again, then we’ll have conversations again. But he’s [Triple H] got a lot on his plate now, especially since he’s in charge of the whole thing.
That’s quite the undertaking now that he has to do. So he doesn’t need to be hearing from me,” said Thatcher. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the career of this great wrestler.
