Braun Strowman made his return to WWE last September, just months after Triple H took over as the new head of the creative team. The 14-time world champion has gained much more power following the resounding retirement of Vince Mcmahon, who decided to say goodbye to WWE in late July.
The choice of him stunned both fans and insiders, starting a new era for the Stamford federation. His right-hand man John Laurinaitis - former head of talent relations - has also been turned away from the company due to some inappropriate behavior.
Vince's place was taken by his daughter Stephanie and Nick Khan, who have shown that they have a very different philosophy from that of their illustrious predecessor. The Game wasted no time and immediately gave its creative touch to the shows, as well as bringing several stars back to the company who had been released during the pandemic.
Kurt Angle on Braun Strowman
In the latest edition of his podcast, Kurt Angle had nice words for Braun Strowman. The former Olympic gold medalist had the chance to work with 'The Monster of All Monsters' at TLC 2017. Angle joined forces with members of the Shield (excluding Roman Reigns) to face Kane, Braun Strowman, Cesaro, Sheamus and The Miz in a handicap match.
“Kane is one of the best giants he has ever worked with. I loved being back in the ring with Kane, because we have always had great chemistry. At the same time, I have to admit that Braun Strowman surprised me a lot. I think he is a very talented wrestler, who can do a lot of things in the ring.
He has unprecedented strength and can lift anything. He could also raise Andre The Giant if he wanted to. People don't realize how strong he is, ”said Angle. Kurt has suffered several injuries during his career: "I've broken my neck five times, but it's the back problems that put an end to a career as a wrestler." Almost 12 hours after Wyatt's return, Braun Strowman took to Twitter to send the following poetic and cryptic tweet: "I love when people that have been through hell walk out of the flames carrying buckets of water for those still consumed by the fire!!!!!" tweeted Braun Strowman.
In 2020, Strowman had a major feud against "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship. Could Braun Strowman get involved with him in some capacity in the near future, either as an ally or a foe?
