Survivor Series: WarGames is around the corner and speculations are increasingly persistent regarding the possible return of Sasha Banks and Naomi to WWE. The aforementioned pay-per-view will be staged at the TD Garden in Boston on November 26 and promises to deliver many twists.
We recall that The Boss and Naomi had left WWE during the recording of the Monday Night Raw episode on May 16, 2022, leaving their Women’s Tag Team Championships vacant and leaving the company due to some differences with the management.
They haven't seen each other on TV since. A lot has changed in WWE after Vince McMahon announced his resounding retirement last July. The now former Chairman of the company has decided to step aside, complicit with advancing age and the heavy accusations that have come down on him following an investigation by the Wall Street Journal.
Vince's place was taken by his daughter Stephanie and Nick Khan, while Triple H became the new head of the creative team. In addition to bringing some of NXT's talent to the main roster, The Game has fostered the return to the company of several stars who had been released during the pandemic.
New details on Sasha Banks and Naomi
Going back to Sasha Banks and Naomi, the two have made several public appearances over the past 6 months. They were spotted at New York Fashion Week, attended several Hollywood-related events, and met with fans for some autograph sessions.
According to 'PWInsider' Mike Johnson, the rumor that Sasha Banks and Naomi will return to the Survivor Series is completely unfounded. Unless sensational and unlikely twists, the two will not appear in the show in question.
Meanwhile, Triple H would be considering further expanding the roster. “There are rumors that HHH is a huge fan of Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona. The Game has always liked athletes who are not afraid to get involved and would be delighted to bring them back to WWE."
In 2016, the WrestleMania 37 main-eventer explained in an interview on Busted Open why she disliked the idea of being a Total Diva: "There's always gonna be, so to say, Divas," Banks said. "And I'm in a category of wrestlers.
It's not for me. I won't ever be on that show. Saying it out there for a fact. But it's fine. People like it. People watch it. So let them enjoy it." Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair seemingly shared Sasha Banks' thoughts about Total Divas.
