Batista on His Horrible WWE Run

WWE is the biggest wrestling promotion of the world, and there aren’t many wrestlers that are able to join the promotion. It takes a lot of work and effort to be recognized by the WWE. The WWE only likes to hire wrestler that they think can help them make more money.

Wrestlers that are good at cutting promos and look big are usually preferred. One of the most successful WWE wrestlers in recent history is Batista. He had multiple runs with the company and was part of Evolution, which was one of the most dominating factions in the history of the WWE.

Batista probably wrestled his last match at the WWE at WrestleMania 35. He lost the match to Triple H. He also had a short run in 2014 but he stated on the Lillian Garcia podcast that is was horrible. "It was horrible. I tried not to take it personally but I really did and it hurt because it's hard to tell people that you want to be there for the right reasons, but they don't want to hear it," said Batista.

"They just don't care why you are there; they just don't want you there. It was a hard thing for me to do, and it was harder for me to leave because I felt that I was starting to connect with the audience. I felt that I was where I wanted to be and we were pushing the personal stuff aside.

I was kind of getting passed that, but I had to leave. I had to go promote Guardians of the Galaxy. I was obligated to go do that."
