Sgt. Slaughter: “I feel that he’s [Vince McMahon] still there"

Sgt. Slaughter, a WWE legend and person close to WWE, spoke about Vince McMahon and his departure from the company. The fact that Vince is not around is still strange to many. However, some believe that Vince is still involved in some processes within the company.

Slaughter agrees with the majority. “I feel that he’s [Vince McMahon] still there and there’s no way to keep him away as far as his knowledge of the business [goes]. If it wasn’t for his knowledge, a lot of us wouldn’t be doing the things we’re doing today.

I wish him all the best. He’s always been a good friend to me. And then he became a boss and then he became a friend again. To me, he was part of my life and is the reason I’m sitting here talking to you, along with Harley Race”.

Michael Cole: Vince McMahon is a second dad in many ways

WWE announcer Michael Cole spoke about Vince McMahon on The Pat McAffe Show. Cole emphasized that things are going great even without McMahon and that the data shows the growth of this company.

Of course, you miss the main man of the company, but they know that the show must go on without him. “Everything has been great. It’s been a great change of scenery the past couple of months. Things are going wonderfully.

Ratings have been good, stories have been great, it’s a different world,” he said “I worked under Vince for 25 years and I knew nothing else. He’s a second dad in many ways, I grew up in the company.

It was a shock when it first happened and we’ve all settled in and realized the show must go on. The show is going on and we’re doing well”.
