WWE Hall of Famer on Vince McMahon's retirement

It has now been several months since Vince McMahon announced his resounding farewell to WWE. The now former Chairman of the company decided to say enough last July, overwhelmed by heavy allegations of misconduct following an investigation by the Wall Street Journal.

The former CEO of the Stamford company, had in fact been accused of having deliberately covered up extramarital affairs he had had with several women, paying for their silence with money from the company's coffers. His right-hand man John Laurinaitis - former head of talent relations - was also dismissed from the Stamford federation to general amazement.

Vince's place was taken by his daughter Stephanie and Nick Khan as CEO, while Triple H became the new head of the creative team, on both the main roster and NXT. In recent weeks, many athletes and insiders have wanted to have their say in the various podcasts and in their various interviews, trying to explain how WWE has changed from having Vince McMahon as the undisputed leader, to having different management figures now, with Triple H which has favored the return of very important Superstars released in the past by Vince, such as Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman and many others.

Sgt Slaughter on Vince McMahon

In his latest interview with Bill Apter, WWE Hall of Famer Sgt Slaughter wanted to return to the now former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and his feeling that Vince never actually walked away from family company.

Regarding this topic, Slaughter said: "I feel like Vince is still there, as there is no way to make him stay away from what he does best, which is business. If it weren't for all of his skills, so many of us would not have done this and not.

they would be where they are today. I only wish him the best. He has always been a good friend to me. Then he became the boss and then we became friends once again. For me, he has been a part of my life and the reason I'm now sitting here talking to you, him along with Harley Race." Apparently, someone still does not believe that Vince McMahon is no longer involved in any way with the family business, which he has been able to enhance so much, with the behavior of Vince in recent years that he has done nothing but create scandals and problems, to the point of eventually ousting him from his own creature.
