Former WWE star reflects on CM Punk

CM Punk's adventure in All Elite Wrestling really seems to be winding down. The Chicago wrestler has been getting scorched around in recent months and AEW president Tony Khan has even suspended him. According to many insiders, the former WWE star has a bad relationship with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, so much so that he sparked a backstage fight that made a lot of noise.

There are many who believe that Punk will never set foot in an AEW ring again. Wrestling fans are wondering if there is actually any chance of seeing CM Punk in WWE again. A lot has changed in Stamford after the sensational farewell of Vince McMahon, who decided to step away from the company last July.

Vince's place was taken by his daughter Stephanie and Nick Khan, while Triple H became the new head of the creative team. The 14-time world champion has shown that he has a very different philosophy from that of his illustrious predecessor, as well as having brought back several stars who had been released to the company.

Chavo Guerrero on CM Punk

In a recent interview with Wrestling Inc., Chavo Guerrero reflected on CM Punk's possible return to WWE: “Never say never in this business, especially when it comes to WWE. WWE is a profit-seeking company, so they certainly don't hold back if there is a chance to make a lot of money.

That's how business works. Even Hulk Hogan is back in WWE despite everything that had happened, but I could name so many other names. Never say never in wrestling”. According to Dave Meltzer, a well-known correspondent for the 'Wrestling Observer', the chances of seeing Punk in WWE are slim: “I know a lot of people in WWE who absolutely don't want to go back to working with CM Punk.

After all the mess he's made in AEW, WWE management has even less interest in taking him back. Triple H doesn't need Punk right now. Maybe Vince McMahon would act differently, given the amount of money involved." Former WWE Writer Vince Russo said on Writing with Russo that a feud between Rhodes and Punk could be possible: ''You do that [CM Punk-Cody Rhodes confrontation] at the Royal Rumble, and the next night on RAW, there's a shocker.

Both these guys [CM Punk and Cody Rhodes] were at the Royal Rumble. And then keep replaying the finish. And then the Cody arrival, the Punk arrival. ''
