The advent of Triple H as the new head of the creative team has resulted in numerous changes in WWE. The 14-time world champion has gained a lot of power following the resounding farewell of Vince McMahon, who decided to step aside last July.
Among other things, Triple H is trying to reconstruct the character of Austin Theory, removing the influence of Vince McMahon to allow the boy to fully express his talent and to do so he started making him fail the collection of the Money In briefcase.
The Bank starting to build a rivalry with both Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley. According to Dave Meltzer, a well-known correspondent for the Wrestling Observer, it will take time to review Austin Theory at the highest level: "Triple H is rebuilding his character from the ground up and making him suffer several losses, but I guarantee you he wants to make him an exceptional performer," and maybe tonight we got a taste of the King of Kings plans.
Austin Theory shone
In recent weeks we have seen a very angry and fierce Austin Theory, exactly like Bobby Lashley, with the two taking it out on the United States champion Seth Rollins and finally WWE organized a match at Survivor Series War Games between the three for the title held by the Drip God.
The contest took place in front of a very h*t audience that all the time cheered, with lots of chants, just the champion Seth Rollins who worked hard to try to keep the belt, but his opponents were not less and the three took turns in some very interesting actions.
In the end, the champion was holding the young ex NXT vertically when Bobby Lashley gave him a Spear, the two fell and landing Theory ended up on Rollins leading the referee to count a pin that went well and so the Vince McMahon's protege has regained the title he had lost some time ago by becoming the new champion shocking the whole WWE Universe.
Austin Theory does not believe his WWE gimmick is too similar to the character that Tyler Breeze used to portray. “You see stuff online where people are like, ‘It’s ripping this off, it’s ripping that off.’ To me, it’s a different way of doing it and I’m going about it a different way.
Anything that people might have seen before or think they might have seen before, they don’t want to get along with it because they’re like, ‘Well, it’s already happened.’ But I think what I do is totally different”.
