Kurt Angle talked about the 2017 WWE Survivor Series on his show (Kurt Angle show). Team RAW defeated Team Smackdown. Angle was unhappy about a lot of things. “I didn’t agree with that, especially making Braun look like a complete a**hole,” Angle said, as quoted by pwmania.com “I’m not sure what they were trying to accomplish at that point.
I know that Triple H wanted to get the win. I understand that. But the way they did that just made it look like nobody else mattered but Triple H. And that’s not what you want to do with talent that you’re building”.
Angle believes that such a match did not leave a special impression. “It wasn’t great. It wasn’t awesome. It was just a good match,” he said. “Nobody’s going to remember this years from now.
It was just a decent match. Nobody was excited — nobody was high fiving each other. It was just, you know, handshake, good match”.

Angle also recalled his return to WWE in 2017. He was not happy with the situation he saw.
It is obvious that the wrestlers who were there at that time did not leave a special impression on him. He believes that the situation in the company was not exactly the best. “Honestly, I’m not gonna lie to you.
You know, at this particular time, there weren’t a lot of really entertaining wrestlers out there, I’m just saying compared to the Attitude Era. I had fun with The Rock and Stone Cold and Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero.
You know, at this point in time, there wasn’t a lot of comedy. There wasn’t a lot of funny stuff going on, and you know, that’s what I really enjoyed doing and for the most part, there wasn’t anybody there that was really portraying that type of character”.
