Emma recently made her WWE return. Emma is actually from Australia and made her way to the main roster in WWE after working at NXT alongside popular WWE stars such as Paige, AJ Lee, and Natalya. However, many people believe that Emma wasn’t used well by Vince Mcmahon, even though she had all the ingredients required to be one of the top wrestlers in the WWE.
Emma is one of the superstars that was brought back after Triple H took over the company after Vince McMahon retired. Vince McMahon didn’t give Emma a chance to shine under him. After Emma left the WWE she found minor success at Impact Wrestling.
Emma Talks About Wanting to Win a Major Title in WWE
Emma answered Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the Smackdown Women’s title recently. She failed to win the Smackdown Women’s title, however, she wasn’t taken off TV and is currently feuding with Scarlett.
She spoke on the Out of Character podcast, where she stated that he goal is to win a title in the WWE, which she still hasn’t been able to do. "I have actually never held a title in WWE believe it or not," Emma said appearing on "Out of Character with Ryan Satin." "When it does happen it'll be that much better, right? Yeah, so, that definitely is a long, a goal of mine to be the Women's Champion in WWE.
I mean, that would definitely be the ultimate goal but I am happy to work myself up to that." Emma actually has fought some of WWE’s best female wrestlers during her first run with the WWE. She managed to beat superstars such as Mickie James and Paige.
She also competed in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament to crown the first-ever NXT Women’s champion. She had to fight Paige in the finals, but failed to win the match and never won the NXT Women’s Title.
She found one more opportunity to try to win the title, but Paige still managed to defeat her that night. Emma has only competed for the Divas title once in her career, and that was back in 2014. She fought AJ Lee at WrestleMania 30, when AJ Lee was forced to defend her title again the entire WWE female roster, who were known as Divas at that time.
At Impact Wrestling, Emma won the Impact Knockouts Tag Team title alongside Madison Rayne and held it for 100 days.
