Vince Mcmahon shocked the world by announcing his retirement this past July. A move that left both fans and insiders speechless, sanctioning the beginning of a new era. The now former Chairman of the company also stepped aside due to the serious allegations of misconduct that fell upon him following an investigation by the Wall Street Journal.
Vince's place was taken by his daughter Stephanie and Nick Khan as CEO of the company, while Triple H became the new head of the creative team. The Game brought back several stars who had been released, sending fans into raptures and boosting backstage morale considerably, with returnees such as Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Dexter Lumis and Johnny Gargano electrifying everyone.
In recent weeks, rumors of a possible return of Vince McMahon to WWE had become increasingly insistent. Vince felt he'd gotten the wrong advice from his closest associates and was doing everything to get his foot back in Stamford.
In the end, the Chairman succeeded in his intent, re-presenting himself on the WWE board of directors, having most of the company's shares and placing two of his close collaborators on the company's board of directors. After this great step, Vince returned to being the Chairman, thanks to the step back of his daughter Stephanie, who resigned yesterday.
The return of Vince McMahon has rocked WWE
Apparently, many people within the WWE would not be happy with the return of the historic Chairman, with Vince McMahon who would have literally upset the environment with his return to Chairman of the Board.
According to the latest news coming from within the federation, two other important executives of the company's board have decided to leave their posts, precisely because of Vince's return to head of the company. In the last few hours, the Ringside News site has thus spoken of the internal situation on the board: "Executives Ignace Lahoud and Man Jit Singh apparently agreed with the board's decision to explore the company's alternative strategies, but disagreed with the return of Vince McMahon to the company now." Two other important executives then leave the scene in a WWE that seems to become more and more unrecognizable every day compared to what it was a few years ago.
According to PWInsider, Sudu Shah was released from the company. The announcer recently confirmed his official departure on Twitter. "Yesterday was my final day with the WWE. What an incredible experience working with some of the most talented people I’ve ever met. Thank you to everyone who watched and supported every week!" Sudu Shah tweeted.
