Nick Khan, the CEO of the WWE, recently spoke about Stephanie McMahon leaving the WWE. She was the co-CEO with Nick Khan after her father, Vince McMahon retired last year after an investigation was launched against him to look into some hush money that he allegedly paid some former female employees.
According to Nick Khan, Stephanie simply left as the entire reason why she came back to the WWE was that her father left.
Nick Khan on Stephanie McMahon Not Being Part of the WWE Anymore
"I think she came back because her dad asked her to come back," Khan said.
"The meetings that she went on that I participated in a lot, as you can imagine when there are stories like that come out you want to make sure that people see you and they know who to talk to and they can call you and there's a face with the product.
There's somebody there to answer if there's a question. That was more about that and at this moment in time, I think she felt her work was done for now. Nothing is permanent, again a terrific executive, an even better person.
Life is long, let's see." Vince McMahon is currently the chairman of the WWE. Stephanie had an up and down relationship with the WWE anyway over the past few years. She was supposed to take a leave of absence in July, however, she immediately returned in July when Vince retired.
Triple H was also leading the creative team when Vince retired and many people are concerned about the return of Vince McMahon. Vince’s son Shane McMahon also left the WWE a while back. Although nobody really knows why Shane quit the WWE, it has been reported that things between Vince and Shane are not cool at the moment.
Shane has actually not been with the company since February 2022. "Family is complicated, business is complicated, family and business is even more complicated, I'd just assume stay away from it," Khan said. "His son-in-law works there, he's the Head of Creative and there's always been a lot of Twitter chatter that somehow those two weren't getting along or this or that, I think everybody's getting along just great." Many people actually believe that under Stephanie McMahon's husband, Triple H, WWE has become a better product.
Many WWE wrestlers also want to return to the WWE as they enjoyed working under Triple H and not Vince McMahon.
