Karrion Kross reassures fans about the future of WWE

Karrion Kross wanted to reassure fans about the atmosphere in the backstage after the sensational return of Vince McMahon. The last few weeks have proved to be very tumultuous for WWE. Vince was in fact elected as executive chairman of the board of directors, while his daughter Stephanie resigned amid general amazement.

These events – combined with the rumor of an imminent sale of the company – have raised many questions among fans and insiders. Fans also fear that Vince McMahon will 'undo' the changes that Triple H has implemented in recent months.

The 14-time world champion lifted morale backstage and made several changes to the WWE product, as well as bringing back several stars who had been released during the pandemic. In the midst of all this chaos, there is less and less time left for the Royal Rumble 2023, which will take place on Saturday 28 January in San Antonio.

Karrion Kross wants to reassure fans

In a long interview granted to the 'San Antonio Express-News', Karrion Kross wanted to reassure fans about the future of WWE: "I know very well that many rumors are circulating, it is inevitable after what happened.

I've talked to many people in the industry and none of them are really worried or fearful of losing their job. We are all ready to adapt. We go on day by day waiting to know for sure what will happen. In the meantime, let's try to remain optimistic." In the latest edition of 'The Wrestling Time Machine' on Sportskeeda, Bill Apter commented on the return of Vince McMahon: “I hate to say it, but I fear Vince has been plotting revenge while he was away from WWE.

I've known him since the late '70s, when I saw him backstage with Willie Gilzenberg and his father Vince McMahon Sr. You could see that he had a particular nose for business. I'm not just referring to business related to the world of wrestling, but to all types of business.

Just over a week ago, the sale of WWE to the Saudi Arabian Investment Fund was taken for granted. A speculation promptly denied by the company itself. Karrion Kross, who was previously known as Killer Kross recently got interviewed by Sports Illustrated and talked about a variety of topics.

“I think it’s fair to say anything is possible, so I wouldn’t discount it. On the other hand, I have not been stifled whatsoever creatively since I have arrived here. I feel like what we have done, from Killer to Karrion, is expand the character. This is something I personally always wanted to do."
