What's next for Matt Cardona?

In recent weeks, there has been nothing but talk of the possible returns that WWE could stage during its first Big Four of the year: the Royal Rumble. During the two matches for 30 men and 30 women, WWE usually makes several very important characters debut or return (even just one night only).

Two of the names rumored for a possible return to WWE in recent weeks are those of Chelsea Green and her husband Zack Ryder, who returned to being Matt Cardona (her real name) after his release from WWE. According to what was reported in the last few hours by the PW Insider website and then also taken up by the Ringside News website, Matt Cardona would have communicated to the fans the end of his commitments in the last Impact Wrestling TV tapings, with the athlete who would thus have played his last match with the American company.

His last match for IMPACT was against Impact Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry, which is scheduled to air on February 2 or 9. This end of relations with Impact has led several insiders to understand how Zack Ryder and therefore also his wife Chelsea Green could appear in the WWE Rumble, which will be aired tomorrow night.

According to the latest rumors from the sites mentioned above, both Green and Cardona will return directly to the main roster, with Cardona obviously taking up his stage name of Zack Ryder.

Update on Matt Cardona's status

Matt Cardona has used social media to tease a return to WWE once again.

This time he has also teased a return to his old character "Zack Ryder." Another big name that could return on Rumble night is Logan Paul. During the latest update reported by the microphones of Fightful Select, the journalists of the well-known site and podcast said: "WWE hopes they can regain stardom in time for the Royal Rumble.

Fightful Select has learned that WWE is hoping to get star Logan Paul back and an appearance from him at the Royal Rumble later this month. We haven't heard any solid details about his plans, but at least last week, WWE was hoping to have him back in training for a match soon.

We can confirm internal rumors about this. Logan Paul's last appearance was in the amazing match against Roman Reigns. After the match, Paul said he pulled several ligaments and muscles in his knee. In any case, his brother Jake had already averted a bad injury."
