Raw superstar Mia Yim recently provided an update on AJ Styles' physical condition. 'The Phenomenal One' is currently out of action with an ankle injury sustained during a live event last month. Styles confirmed that he injured his ankle but assured that surgery would not be required.

Interviewed by Emily Mae for Sportskeeda, Mia Yim reflected on the form of her colleague: “AJ is doing great, works hard every day and is in a great mood. There is still no certain date for his return to the ring, but the most important thing is that he is feeling good mentally.

He can count on the support of his family and his friends, while we can't wait for him to fight again”. Styles has had an extraordinary career shining in the most important promotions on the planet, including TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling and WWE.

AJ Styles made his WWE debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, sending fans into raptures and leaving all industry experts speechless. In a long interview with Mike Johnson for 'PWInsider', Styles reflected on his future: "I just hope to be able to stay healthy and greet the fans in the best way.

I will give my best until the last second, then I will dedicate myself to something else. I would happily end my career similar to The Undertaker. He understood perfectly when it was time to step aside. I want to be the one to make that decision." On the Italian night between Saturday and Sunday, the Royal Rumble will be staged.

The first PPV of 2023 will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio and promises to give many emotions. WWE will do everything possible not to disappoint fans, who are quite worried after recent events. The sensational return of Vince McMahon has once again upset the cards on the table, also causing the resignation of Stephanie.

There are also rumors that WWE is in the process of being sold. When asked about her recent pairing with AJ Styles and The OC in WWE, Mia Yim spoke about how important it was to come back and be herself. "I just wanted to be me.

I just wanted to come back and showcase what I’ve been doing for over a decade. And with The OC, we’ve never been close before, but we’ve always known each other," Mia Yim said. "We’ve worked with each other in other companies. I was rooting for AJ in his UpUpDownDown Championship battle with [Tyler] Breeze. Like, we have history."
